Atlantic tables have been used at the Annual BAPTO Pool finals for more than 15 years. The UK’s longest running, largest and most prestigious, pub pool championships.

Commercial Grade Construction – 

The top frame is secured by bolts to the slate for the most consistent and accurate play field and cushion response.

Plywood construction gives the SAM Atlantic table great strength and durability, without excess weight.

Less susceptible to damp conditions, easier to repair when damaged and harder wearing at joints and fixings than the more commonly used MDF.

All top frame components are bolted metal to metal reducing movement and wear, and the frame fits more accurately to the cabinet.

The real genius of the ProActive system is in the cushion fit.

• Cushions are profiled to match the aluminium top and secured by a full length plate.
• Standard 10mm bolts fit snugly into the extrusion and give consistent cushion response along the whole length. The simple fitting routine needs no special tools.
• The cushion can never be fitted at the wrong height dispensing with the need for metal cushion strips that are unsightly and disturb the players’ bridging action.
• The top frame is clamped to the slate creating a contiguous playing surface that can be levelled as one unit for super accuracy.
• Top players have likened the ball response achieved to that of a steel block snooker table.

ProActive cushions provide the most accurate and consistent cushion response ever achieved.

Slate Bed Playing Surface – There is no substitute for slate when it comes to a level playing field. A natural material hewn from the great mountain ranges of the world, diamond honed to perfection by SAM, stored and prepared in just the right environment to ensure perfect level when installed. Notably the slate is 25mm which is around 6mm thicker than most slate pool tables.

Easy Precise Level – SAM tables are a piece of cake to level with just a 13mm open ended spanner. No lifting of the table required at all so no help required and greater accuracy can be achieved with your spirit level.

Quiet Ball Return System – Champion table feature carpeted internal ball runs to reduce the noise as ball return to the baulk end exit box. Ideal for not disturbing other family members or neighbours when playing in the evening.

Leg Options – Choice between a Black or Silver legs that surround the chrome diamond shape design.

Domestic and Commercial Set Up – Option to select the Domestic Free-play version (Atlantic Champion) denoted by the word ‘Champion’, ideal for home games rooms. Alternatively the commercial version ‘Atlantic’ is fitted with the option for an electronic coin mechanism or the latest technology in contactless payment which will display the pool balls with a window at the side and return the white ball to the top end of the table.

Cloth Colours & Accessories – Select from a choice of traditional Victoria (wool) or Atlas (speed) cloths as standard to compliment your table finish or upgrades available for the Hainsworth Smart or Elite Pro Cloth range. Smart Pewter Cloth

After listening to feedback from our customers we are now able to offer a darker shade of grey Smart napped wool cloth known as Pewter. The cloth colour is almost identical to the American style Charcoal coloured Hainsworth Elite Pro cloth. One of our more popular cloth colours and available across all our range of English pool tables.

Hainsworth Match Cloth

A tournament standard very fine napped wool cloth that delivers the professional playing experience by providing spectacular speed and cue ball control.

The cloth of ACBS, Match Room Snooker, SPA, BAPTO, EUKPF, the World Pool Championships, French Grand National, British Open and many other tournaments.

Minimum Room Dimensions

Sam Pool Table Delivery 

Your pool table will be delivered by a minimum of 2 experienced fitters nationwide with the option to have the table professionally installed.

Delivery Only

Our Free Delivery service will be to the ground floor room of your choice in component form and left to yourself to assemble. Delivery Only to various different floors above and below ground level to ensure safe and easy handling of your pool table is available for an additional charge. Some remote areas incur an additional charge, please see out terms and conditions or contact our showroom for more information.

Please note. Slate bed tables are very heavy (200 + kg) therefore please ensure sufficient numbers of people are available to handle the table safely.

Please Note. This delivery option should only be selected for shipping purposes abroad.

Delivery & Installation 

Our skilled team of fitters will deliver your pool table to the ground floor of your property in component form and assemble the pool table in your room. The table will also be professionally levelled. If you require the pool table to be installed above or below ground this can be done for an additional charge. We strongly advise utilising this service for peace of mind and a timely professional build so you can shoot some pool straight away.

For tight staircases and room openings or attics/basements a dry build/flat pack pool table may be the only option for installation. If you think this applies regarding your property please contact the showroom and our experts can discuss and advice the best course of action.

Scotland

Snooker Balls & Cloth Marking Option

At Home Pool Tables we provide the option to include a set of Snooker Balls (Standard & Aramith quality) for a variation of games.

If selected you have the choice to have your pool table marked accordingly with a ‘D’ at the top of the table and spots placed for respective coloured snooker balls.

The set also includes a Snooker Triangle and 2 Player Scoreboard.

Please note. Snooker Balls will be the same size as your Pool Balls.
