One of our most popular tables and Made in the UK, The Cheltenham Diner Pool Table combines professional quality, excellent playability and fantastic modern style. The diner is designed to be a pleasure to play on and will convert seamlessly into a stylish dining table when not in use.

This table has been built to the high standards of a commercial table but with a functional compact design which will look fantastic in any family dining room. The design is based on that of the classic billiards table, compact, shallow and suitable for various rooms. The table features professional quality pocket rubbers/cushions, polished chrome plated corners and a solid, single piece slate bed for superb playability.

Hidden Ball Drawer 

The table is equipped with a sliding ball drawer which collects balls as they are potted and stores them away while the table is being used for dining. This prevents an eyesore of a ball collection opening when using as a dining table.

Supreme Playability

The best aspect of the Cheltenham is the top rail and cushion rubbers which are the same found on the World Championship Supreme Match Pool Table providing excellent playability and performance, ideal for frequent use. The top frame has been handcrafted into a rounded smooth shape more commonly found on deluxe table models. This is not only aesthetically pleasing but more comfortable and smoother to the touch.

• Both the Benches and Cubes are great space savers as can be pushed underneath the table when not in use.

• Both Benches and Cubes provide comfort with the cushion and still allow ample leg room.
• The Table Top Stand protects and secures the table top lids from damage while playing pool.

The Cheltenham comes as standard with a choice of quality Strachan 777 durable napped wool cloth in a choice of Green, Blue, Burgundy, Black, Red, Purple & Grey.

Upgraded Cloths

Strachan 861

Strachan 861 is a non-directional worsted (speed) cloth to achieve constant speed in all directions. It has a smooth, precise surface which has been specially developed by Simonis in Belgium for the IPA professional tournaments.

861 is known for its durability (as the surface is Teflon Coated making it spill resistant) and speed but also requires no ironing. The Strachan 861 Cloth gives you a flat, flawless playing surface. Available only in Powder Blue from Strachan though other colours available from Simonis 860 range. (see bottom of the page)

Strachan Superfine

Ultimate English fine napped wool pool cloth with Spill Guard Protection & Antikick™ technology giving you professional levels of speed, consistency and control. (fitted on Supreme Match Table pictured below). Available in Silver or Green.

Smart Pewter Cloth

After listening to feedback from our customers we are now able to offer a darker shade of grey Smart napped wool cloth known as Pewter. The cloth colour is almost identical to the American style Charcoal coloured Hainsworth Elite Pro cloth. One of our more popular cloth colours and available across all our range of English pool tables.

Match Cloth

A tournament standard very fine napped wool cloth that delivers the professional playing experience by providing spectacular speed and cue ball control.

The cloth of ACBS, Match Room Snooker, SPA, BAPTO, EUKPF, the World Pool Championships, French Grand National, British Open and many other tournaments.

Available in 3 different colours – Green, Blue & Silver (as pictured below)

Simonis Cloth 

Simonis cloth is more commonly fitted on American Pool Tables and is very similar to Strachan 861 with a much faster playing surface. This hybrid cloth is made from both traditional wool and nylon to combine the benefits of both speed and durability. The choice of players in the modern era is leading towards napless cloths and Simonis is used in over 90% of the World’s pool tournaments, including the Mosconi Cup, World Cup of Pool, World Pool Masters, and World Pool Championships.

Your pool table will be delivered by a minimum of 2 experienced fitters nationwide with the option to have the table professionally installed.

Delivery Only

Our Free Delivery service will be to the ground floor room of your choice in component form and left to yourself to assemble. Delivery Only to various different floors above and below ground level to ensure safe and easy handling of your pool table is available for an additional charge. Some remote areas incur an additional charge, please see out terms and conditions or contact our showroom for more information.

Please note. Slate bed tables are very heavy (200 + kg) therefore please ensure sufficient numbers of people are available to handle the table safely.

Delivery & Installation 

Our skilled team of fitters will deliver your pool table to the ground floor of your property in component form and assemble the pool table in your room. The table will also be professionally levelled. If you require the pool table to be installed above or below ground this can be done for an additional charge. We strongly advise utilising this service for peace of mind and a timely professional build so you can shoot some pool straight away.

For tight staircases and room openings or attics/basements a dry build/flat pack pool table may be the only option for installation. If you think this applies regarding your property please contact the showroom and our experts can discuss and advice the best course of action.

Bespoke Gatley Pool Tables will be on average 8-10 weeks for delivery/installation in England & Wales.

Stock tables will be delivered within 2-4 weeks.

Scotland 

Bespoke Gatley Pool Tables will be on average 6-8 weeks for delivery/installation in Scotland.

What Is An Aramith Pool Ball?

Snooker Balls & Cloth Marking Option

At Home Pool Tables we provide the option to include a set of Snooker Balls (Standard & Aramith quality) for a variation of games.

If selected you have the choice to have your pool table marked accordingly with a ‘D’ at the top of the table and spots placed for respective coloured snooker balls.

The set also includes a Snooker Triangle and 2 Player Scoreboard.

Please note. Snooker Balls will be the same size as your Pool Balls.
